Mr. Stanley Davis, 76, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Piedmont Regional Medical Center – Midtown Campus. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, May 8, 2026, at New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Chapman officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Singleton, Ricky Tyler, Kem Tyler, Marc Miller, Bucky Wiggins, and Wayne Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Welch, Kim Welch and Keith Miller. The family will greet friends Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Buena Vista, GA, from 6:00 - 8:00PM

Mr. Davis was born in Americus, GA, on April 7, 1950, to Luther Ray and Christine Hagler Davis. He spent most of his life as a farmer and a truck driver until his health declined. Mr. Davis was an avid deer and fox hunter and trained dogs to assist with his hunting trips. He grew up at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and supported several churches in the area throughout his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Harry Davis, and a sister, Eleanor Marian Davis.

He is survived by his son, Craig Davis.
