Tammy Phagan

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Tammy Lynn James Phagan, age 47, died early Wednesday morning, March 7, 2018.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 9, 2018, at Ellaville Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Ellaville Cemetery.  Bro. Troy Fripp will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM at the church.

     Mrs. Phagan was born June 22, 1970 in Warner Robins, GA, the daughter of the late Tommy James and Mary Margaret James. She was a teacher, having taught in Sumter County.  Mrs. Phagan enjoyed riding and listening to music, cleaning her house, watching sports and doing crossword puzzles.  Mrs. Phagan loved everyone, especially her children, brothers and sisters.  She liked to watch butterflies and birds.  Mrs. Phagan was of the Baptist faith.

   Survivors include her husband, Fred Phagan III of Ochlocknee, GA; three sons, Derek Chase Phagan of Ft. Drum, NY, Chandler Blake Phagan of Thomasville, GA, Triston Chance Phagan of Ochlocknee, GA; two sisters, Renaye Robinson and husband Mike of Ellaville, Barbara Singletary of Bonaire, GA; two brothers, Steve James of Ellaville and Plez James of Ellaville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phagan was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Chad Phagan.

     Pallbearers will include Chase Phagan, Chandler Phagan, Chance Phagan, Steve James, Plez James and Lawrence Callier.
