Theresa McGarity

Theresa N. McGarity, 60, of Box Springs, GA, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at The Medical Center in Columbus, GA.  The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. McGarity was born January 27, 1952, in Cuthbert, GA, to Morgan Judson and Naomi Vickery Leverett. She attended Oakland Baptist Church and was a Homemaker and Caregiver. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Kenneth J. McGarity.

She is survived by two daughters, Alicia & Jasen Robeson of Mauk, GA, and Elizabeth & Richard Summitt of Missouri; by two sisters, Martha Leverett of Box Springs, GA, and Ann McCrady of Columbus, GA; and by six grandchildren, Nicholas Bentley, Jasen Robeson, Jr., Jaelyn McGarity, Thomas Robeson, Noah Robeson, and Joshua McGarity.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, is in charge of these arrangements.
