Tom Clayton Kendrick

Mr. Tom Clayton Kendrick, 83, of Ellaville, GA passed away at Glen Eagle Health and Rehabilitation in Abbeville, GA on June 29, 2023.  Memorial services will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Stephen Fripp officiating.  The family will greet friends at the church from 10:00 AM until service time. 

Mr. Kendrick was born February 5, 1940 in Tifton, GA to Luther and Florence Kendrick.  He was well known around the Ellaville area as “The Blueberry Man.”  He never met a stranger and was always smiling and joking.  Mr. Kendrick loved spending time in his flower garden and woodworking. 

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Shutters Kendrick of Ellaville, GA; two sons, Tommy Kendrick and his wife, Janice of Americus, GA and Mike Kendrick of Ellaville, GA; a daughter, Patty Walker of Smithville, TN; two grandchildren, Michael Kendrick, Jr. and Deena Elizabeth Kendrick; a brother, Luther Kendrick, Jr. and his wife, Ella of Holladay, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
