Vera Bunting

MAUK, GA --- Vera Bunting, 87, of Mauk, GA, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Florence Hand Home in LaGrange, GA.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Buena Vista Cemetery with Reverend David Chapman officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 15, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00PM.

Ms. Bunting was born September 28, 1927, in Taylor County, GA, to Joseph Monroe and Arrie McBride Grier. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She loved her flowers and fishing and was an excellent cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Grover Bunting and 6 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by four daughters, Joy and Johnny Eason of Mauk, GA; Brenda and Bill Scott of Elko, GA, June Fleming of LaGrange, GA, and Amanda and Ray Hague of Milton Mills, NH; a sister, Lucille Elliott of Howard, GA; seven grandchildren, Jonas Eason, Joley Eason, John and Hanna Scott, Stephen Scott, Mick and Niki Studdard, Hunter Rivera, and Hannah Rivera; and two great-grandchildren, Bryce Studdard and Cadence Studdard.
