Waymon Tyler

Mr. Charles Waymon Tyler, 72, of Buena Vista, GA, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at his residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, December 5, 2014, by “The Shed” on the family property on Cool Springs Road in Buena Vista with Rev. Raymond Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Tyler was born March 10, 1942, in Marion County, GA, to C. W. “Ted” and Helen Gay Pilcher Tyler. He attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was self-employed as a farmer. He was a member of the Marion County High School Class of 1960, the Kinchafoonee Hunting Club and a past member of the ASC Office Committee.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a brother, Reuben Tyler.

He is survived by his wife, Mariann Robbins Tyler of Buena Vista, GA; by a daughter, Lisa Tyler Barrow and husband Johnny of Butler, GA; by two brothers, Ronnie Tyler and wife Patsy and Ricky Tyler and wife Jeannie, all of Buena Vista, GA; by three sisters, Gayle Helms and husband Tommy of Waxhaw, NC, Arlene Fultz of Dublin, GA, and Faye Tatum of Americus, GA; a special sister-in-law, Bonnie Tyler of Buena Vista, GA; two grandchildren, Harley Barrow and Hunter Barrow; and several nieces and nephews.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
