Wayne Berry

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Charles Wayne Berry, age 78 of Americus, died Monday March 5, 2018 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA.  A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery, Americus, GA.  Rev. Matt Avera will officiate.

      Mr. Berry was born December 22, 1939 in Sumter County, GA, the son of William and Sara Berry.  He had farmed and also worked for the City of Americus.

      Mr. Berry is survived by two sisters, Maxine McGrother and husband David of Americus, Susie Varnum and husband Gerald of Americus; two brothers, Donnie Berry and wife Margie of Americus, and Bobby Berry and wife Sara Lyn of Americus. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Berry, Jr.
