Wilbur Eugene Youngblood

Mr. Wilbur Eugene Youngblood, 78, of Box Springs, GA, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017, at his residence.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017, at 1:00PM in the Buena Vista Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Norman Zimmerman, Jamie Zimmerman, Mitchell Kirk, Michael Kirk, David Youngblood, and Danny Gould.

Mr. Youngblood was born December 12, 1938, in Marion County to Grady Jackson and Minnie Lee Allen Youngblood.  He attended the United Church of God and was self-employed as a logger. Mr. Youngblood enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and road trips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Grady Boyett Youngblood and George Floyd Youngblood and a sister, Ruby Lee Berkhousen.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Youngblood of Box Springs, GA; by a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Susan Youngblood of Midland, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Agnes and Brian Gardiner of Stockbridge, GA, and Barbara and Warren Kirk of Naylor, GA; a brother, James Boyce Youngblood of Buena Vista, GA; a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Roy Zimmerman of Canton, GA; sister-in-law, Minnie Youngblood of Pine Mountain, GA; eight grandchildren, Michelle and Danny Gould, Brittany Huse, Kathryn Youngblood, Mitchell Kirk, Joanne Youngblood, Beth Kirk, David Youngblood, and Michael Kirk; and two great-grandchildren, Titan Youngblood Gould and Story Gould.
