William "Bill" L. Taylor, Jr.

Mr. William Littleton “Bill” Taylor, Jr., 63, of Cusseta, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Cusseta First Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Parsons and Rev. Mark Hudson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Harmony Cemetery in Cusseta, GA. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 17, 2020, from 6:00-8:00PM.

Mr. Taylor was born September 15, 1956, in Richland, GA, to William Littleton Taylor, Sr. and Lucille Wright Taylor. He had been employed with AAA Cooper Transportation as a truck driver. Spending time with his son and grandchildren always made Mr. Taylor happy. He loved racing and hunting and also enjoyed fishing, yardwork and riding four-wheelers. He was a member of Cusseta United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Polly Smith Taylor; by a son and daughter-in-law, William Littleton Taylor, III (Amber); by a sister, Joann Weiner all of Cusseta, GA; by grandchildren, William Littleton Taylor, IV, Kye Littleton Taylor, and Gunner Littleton Taylor, who is due in April. Mr. Taylor is also survived by a host of other family and friends that are considered family.
