Obituary

Mr. William Berry “Bill” St. John, II, 82, of Americus, GA, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Orr and Bro. Troy Fripp officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 5:00-7:00PM.

Mr. St. John was born in Elizabethton, TN, on August 20, 1943, to William Berry St. John, Sr. and Iris Nadine Purcell St. John. He enjoyed the real estate business and was the owner of Georgia Farm Realty. He worked for over 40 years as a real estate broker before his retirement. Mr. St. John enjoyed hunting and antiquing. He loved Blue Bell ice cream and his favorite saying was, “Rose – Where are you at now?” In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kari Cline, by a son, Greg William Miller, and a brother, Gordon St. John.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalee St. John; by two sons, Andy St. John (Rhonda) and Michael Eugene Miller (Teresa); Fourteen grandchildren, Jena Miller Tyler (Matt), Madi Miller, Brandi Richards (Jacob), Britany Eaddy (Bryton), Blake St. John, Jonathan Renfroe (Kimberly), Rebecca St. John, D. J. Childree (Amelia), Jonathon Warren (Misty), McKale Fleming, Jamie Milotte, Austin Miller, Cody Miller, and Morgan Cloutier; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Way- Watson Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA, has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. St. John.
