James Marshall Edmonson

Mr. James Marshall Edmonson, 73, of Ellaville, GA passed away on September 4, 2020 at his residence.  Memorial services will be held in the chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Sidney Clay officiating.  The family will greet friends beginning at 2:00 PM until service time. Due to Covid-19, face coverings are encouraged and please practice social distancing.

            Mr. Edmonson was born April 25, 1947 in Taylor County, GA to the late Horace Edmonson and Katie Nell Windham Edmonson.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam.  Mr. Edmonson was a member of Ideal Baptist Church.  He was retired from Waste Industries after many years of service.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Edmonson and Larry “Buck” Edmonson.

            Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Melody Jones Edmonson; three children, Tracy (Tony) Summerlin, Mallory Inhulsen and Stephen (Megan) Inhulsen; four grandchildren, Sean McClelland, Zachary McClelland, Kayla Summerlin, and Joshua Shell; a great-grandson, Zealan McClelland; eleven siblings, Mary Youngblood, Phyllis (Martin) Windham, Sarah Youngblood, Debbie (Dale) Coulter, Ellen (Alan) McCullars, Janice Hobbs, Kim Parker, Otis Edmonson, Charlie (Glenda) Edmonson, Johnny (Betty) Edmonson, and Bobby Edmonson.
