Ronny Vaughn Taylor

Mr. Ronny Vaughn Taylor, 68, of Evans, Georgia, entered into rest on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Fripp officiating. Burial will follow in Ellaville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Belcher, Ronny English, Davis English, Todd Taylor and Josh Taylor. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

            Mr. Taylor was born September 17, 1950 in Nashville, TN to the late Mack Henry Taylor and Lenore Clark Taylor.  He was retired from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Department as the head of courthouse Security.  Mr. Taylor loved his family and spending time with them and would do anything to help them out. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mickey Taylor, two sisters, Sherry Taylor and Velda Taylor, a grandson, Vaughn Taylor and two nephews, Wayne Dickerson and Robert Lee.

            Survivors include his children, Keith Taylor and his wife, Kellet of Grovetown, GA and Mack Taylor of Evans, GA; a brother, Neil Taylor of Warner Robins, GA; a sister, Maxine Underwood and her husband, Allen of Ellaville, GA; five grandchildren, Finn Taylor, Vivian Taylor, Aubrey Wright, Josh Taylor and Dylan Taylor; two great-grandchildren; six nieces, Shelly Taylor, Trina Summerlin, Tonya Soriano, Brooke Belcher, Jennifer Taylor and Candace Jeancake; five nephews, Todd Taylor, Corey Taylor, Ronny English, Davis English and Josh Taylor; and numerous great nieces and nephews and other family.
