Tina Rea Kirby

Ms. Tina Rea Kirby, 58, of Box Springs, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at her residence.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 2:00PM at Richland First Baptist Church.

Ms. Kirby was born July 11, 1962, in East Gadsden, AL, to Samuel Emerson and Francis Rebecca Lyles Hendon. She was Baptist by faith. In her youth, Ms. Kirby loved to roller skate.  Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved them dearly. In her adult years, she loved the outdoors and enjoyed going to the beach, camping and flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Kirby, by her grandsons, Asa and Eli Hamby, and by a brother, Quinton Hendon.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Michael Hamby of Smiths Station, AL; by two brothers, Gene Hendon of Box Springs, GA, and Michael and Sherry Hendon of Richland; by a sister, Gay and Jabo Harris of Newnan, GA; by two grandchildren, Selah Hamby and Seth Hamby; by two special uncles, Raymond Lyles and Charles Lyles and by several nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

Way-Watson Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, Georgia has been entrusted with these arrangements.
